Terms and Conditions

From the buyer’s perspective:

All bulls will sell with a current breeding soundness exam.
All bred animals will sell with a pregnancy test day of delivery unless other arrangements have been made between buyer and seller.
All animals will sell with a sight unseen guarantee.
Females will be owner guaranteed for breeding soundness. If you want a vet’s opinion it will be up to you to arrange this with the seller.
You must register to bid on this site. Instructions are available at the bottom of the private treaty page on the website.
Payment will be made to Frontier Stockyard’s custodial account and held in escrow before delivery of animal or animals.
If you choose to exercise the sight unseen guarantee, you must do so at time of delivery.
Any incident that occurs after delivery of said animal or animals will be the responsibility of the buyer.
If payment is made with a personal or company check, funds must be cleared at your bank before delivery will be made.
Payment can be made with Electronic wire transfer or Money order.
Bid will expire on Friday of the week it is placed. (Closing times for each lot may be variable.)

From the seller’s perspective:

Seller or consignor will be held responsible for any guarantees made regarding their individual consignments.
All bulls will be required to have a current fertility examination prior to delivery.
All bred females will be required to have current pregnancy test prior to delivery.
All animals will be sound and healthy with acceptable disposition.
A listing will expire 30 days from the date of approval.
Consignor must leave listing up for a minimum of five business days. (Excluding weekends.)
Consignor has five business days to accept or decline the high bid on lots. (Excluding weekends.)

How it works:

Fill out a consignment form with information on your listing.
Forms are available on the website or you can contact Frontier Stockyards office.
A consignment fee of $50.00 for each listing.
When your listing sells you will be charged a fee of 3% on the total $$ of the sale.

Reserve Price:

Bids will be accepted in $100.00 increments.
All auctions will have a closing date and time.
If there is a bid placed in the lasts 2 minutes of the time allowed then the auction will extend for 2 minutes.

Sight unseen guarantee (Protection for Buyer’s):

Animal or animals must be as represented in the listing.
Animal or animals must be sound and in good general health.
Animal or animals must have an acceptable disposition.
Animal or animals must have all necessary health papers and protocols in order at time of delivery, at the seller’s expenses.

Sight unseen guarantee (Protection for Seller’s):

Buyer must inspect animal or animals at time of delivery, any discrepancy must be noted immediately.
Any issues that occur after delivery of animal will be the responsibility of the buyer.
Payment for the transaction will be held in Frontier Stockyard’s custodial account.
Payment will be made to the seller after transaction has been approved by both parties.
